Description
"White Iris" was originally painted using two 60" H x 42" W canvases to create one very large scale work of art. The focus in my painting is the movement, the shadow, and the tones of this delicate white on white flower. The inspiration for my painting was the appearance of a White Bearded Iris that blossomed outside my art studio window. Painting this flower is my way of capturing and sharing the brief and glorious lifecycle of this awe-inspiring beauty.
