Standing on the brink of a completely new way of living is a daunting task for even the most adventurous explorer. As we emerge from a state of shock at how fast and furiously a global pandemic has ravaged our world, we are face to face with the unknown. Many of us are feeling fearful at the prospect of reckoning with a significantly changed world. Out of necessity, we find ourselves now thinking and acting differently in ways. This is the new normal. Perhaps we can draw comfort from the experience of history's trail blazers who have stood where we now stand. They will have much to teach us about exploring our Brave New World.
